1. Overview

Welcome to the West Rose Signature Candle Collection Affiliate Program. Our brand is rooted in intentional living, sensory wellness, and elevated self-care through aromatherapy. This Agreement outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and guidelines for all approved Affiliates ("you").

By participating in the Program, you agree to use the Program in the manner specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions, and to represent our brand with integrity, authenticity, and in alignment with our wellness-focused values.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety you are not authorized to register as an Affiliate or participate in the Program in any manner. 

2. Brand Alignment & Values

West Rose Signature Candle Collection is a eco-friendly aromatherapy brand focused on:

  • Calm, slow living, and nervous system support
  • Clean, eco-conscious, and elevated home rituals
  • Aesthetic, sensory-driven experiences
  • Emotional wellness and intentional self-care

Affiliates must ensure all content aligns with these pillars. We reserve the right to remove any Affiliate whose content does not reflect our brand ethos.

3. Enrollment & Approval

All Affiliates must apply and be approved before participation. We prioritize creators who:

  • Produce high-quality, visually cohesive content
  • Align with wellness, lifestyle, or home aesthetics
  • Demonstrate authenticity and audience trust

Approval is at our sole discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Registration.

4. Influencer Content Guidelines

Aesthetic Standards

Affiliate content should reflect our brand’s visual identity:

  • Soft, warm, and calming tones (neutral, earthy, minimalist palettes)
  • Clean, uncluttered environments
  • Natural lighting preferred (avoid harsh or overly artificial lighting)
  • Elevated, editorial-style visuals (luxury but approachable)
  • Focus on mood, ambiance, and experience—not just the product

Content should feel aspirational yet attainable, similar to a spa-like or slow-living lifestyle.

Content Do’s

Affiliates are encouraged to:

  • Showcase products in real-life rituals (morning routines, wind-down routines, self-care moments)
  • Highlight sensory benefits (scent experience, ambiance, relaxation)
  • Educate audiences on aromatherapy benefits in a responsible, non-medical way
  • Share authentic experiences and personal testimonials
  • Use storytelling that evokes calm, rest, and intentional living
  • Incorporate seasonal or mood-based content (e.g., “stress relief,” “slow mornings,” “evening reset”)

Content Don’ts

Affiliates may NOT:

  • Make medical or therapeutic claims (e.g., “cures anxiety,” “treats depression”)
  • Use aggressive, overly sales-driven language
  • Post low-quality, dark, cluttered, or off-brand visuals
  • Associate the brand with controversial, offensive, or harmful content
  • Misrepresent product features or benefits
  • Use flashing, chaotic, or overly loud content styles that conflict with a calming brand experience

5. FTC Disclosure Requirements

Affiliates must clearly and conspicuously disclose their relationship with West Rose Signature Candle Collection in ALL promotional content.

Examples include adding one of the following statements anywhere that your affiliate link is shared:

  • "I may earn a commission from this link."
  • "I may earn a commission from qualifying purchases."

This may also include adding the following hashtags into your promotional content:

  • “#ad”
  • “#affiliate”

Disclosures must be visible and easily seen in your captions or hashtags.

6. Affiliate Links & Promotion

Your affiliate link is automatically generated, but you can also generate an affiliate link for a specific product or collection. If a person clicks on someone else’s referral link and then later they click on yours, yours is the one that counts.

You may also be assigned to one coupon code with details and usage clarified on your Dashboard. If a customer clicks on both the affiliate link and uses the coupon code, you will not receive a double commission. If you are not assigned a branded coupon, then you are not allowed to promote the coupon.

Affiliate may also advertise merchant website on public online channels such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. or offline classified channel ads, magazines, and newspapers.

We use a cookie to track people who have clicked on your link, so they need to be using cookies in order for us to track them. If a person doesn't allow cookies or clears their cookies, then we cannot track them or pay earnings on that person's activity.

Tracking will start from the time a customer clicks on your link. Purchases must take place within 30 days of clicking the link. Every qualifying order made by this customer at our website within the 30 day cookie time, will automatically result in commissions to the affiliate. There is no need for the customer to click on the affiliate link again.

  • Affiliates will receive unique links and/or discount codes
  • Links must be used exactly as provided to ensure accurate tracking
  • Codes may not be shared on coupon sites or unauthorized platforms
  • Promotion must occur on approved public platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, blogs/websites)

7. Prohibited Marketing Practices

Affiliates may NOT:

  • Run paid ads using our brand name, trademarks, or product names without written consent
  • Bid on branded keywords in search engines
  • Engage in spam, mass messaging, or misleading tactics
  • Use unauthorized giveaways or promotions under our brand name
  • Repackage or resell products without permission
  • Post affiliate content or share their unique link without clearly and conspicuously disclosing their relationship with West Rose Signature Candle Collection, as described in #5.

8. Commissions & Payments

Refer any customer to make a purchase on our website, and you will get a commission amount which is calculated based on our commission structure. Commission amount is dependent on order value and not including extra fees (tax, shipping cost, etc.).

For an Affiliate to receive a commission, you need to specify the payment details on your Settings page. The payment schedule will be provided on the Guide page.

Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed. Use of the Affiliate Program is subject to a fair use policy which gives West Rose Signature Candle Collection the right to review each and every referral order. The status of commission is displayed in Commission tab; any paid commission will be listed on Payment tab. Transactions that result in charge backs or refunds will not be paid out.

  • Commissions are earned on qualifying purchases made through your affiliate link/code
  • Rates payment schedules will be provided separately and may change at any time
  • Commissions apply only to completed, non-refunded orders

9. Payment Terms

  • Payments are issued: Monthly
  • Minimum payout threshold: $10.00
  • Payment method: CashApp, Venmo, or PayPal
  • We reserve the right to withhold or reverse commissions for returns, fraud, or policy violations

10. Intellectual Property

All brand assets (imagery, logos, copy, product names) are owned by West Rose Signature Candle Collection. 

We may share promotion media such as banners, logos, or specific collection promotional materials to you through your Marketing tool tab. You can download the media or get the HTML embed code in order to share on affiliate channels.

Affiliates:

  • May use approved assets only
  • May not alter logos or branding without permission
  • May not create derivative products or materials that mimic our brand identity

11. Compliance & Safety

Affiliates must:

  • Follow all applicable laws (including FTC guidelines)
  • Avoid making health or medical claims about aromatherapy products
  • Represent products as part of a wellness lifestyle—not medical treatment

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate participation at any time for:

  • Misalignment with brand values or aesthetics
  • Failure to follow content guidelines
  • Inappropriate or harmful content
  • Fraudulent or unethical behavior

Upon termination:

  • All affiliate links/codes must be removed immediately
  • Unpaid commissions may be forfeited in cases of violation

13. Program Updates

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued participation indicates acceptance of updated terms.

14. Limitation of Liability

West Rose Signature Candle Collection is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. We do not guarantee earnings or performance outcomes.

15. Independent Contractor Status

Affiliates are independent contractors and are responsible for their own taxes, business practices, and compliance.

16. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of KY.
